80 pawikan hatchlings welcome Kadayawan Festival

Just in time for the start of the 30th Kadayawan Festival last August 17, 80 pawikan eggs were hatched in the Cleanergy Park in Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya in Davao City. These hatchlings, which were fondly called as “Kadayawan Pawikan babies,” came from the 3rd nest with 121 eggs found last June 16, 2015. Continue reading…

Kadayawan 2014 opens today; Aug. 15 declared holiday

The 29th Kadayawan sa Dabaw celebration officially opens at 5 p.m. today, August 12, during simultaneous ceremonies at Quezon and Rizal Parks, Mayor Rodrigo R.
